This is a political forum correct? so conduct of the pres. might be relevant?
Covid life has gone back to normal
I don't have to read everyday about the Pres dismantling some part of the gov't that he doesn't agree with.
Inflation would of happened with Trump
The is zero evidence that Trumps mere presence would of stopped Putin. In fact I would bet he would of actually gotten us into a war.. The pressure to "do something" would have triggered his dumb ideas to kick in. "fly US planes with Chinese flags and bomb Moscow" was one I remember him stating.
The infrastructure deal was a net gain imo.
I don't have to watch the banana republic trump family operation
Watching MAGA cry is actually a net gain /fact.

A guy who sacrificed all of his credibility in favor of a president who voted for corporate tax cuts is ready to tell us how the working man thinks. Trumpshill strikes again.

Existence has always been a class struggle, but unfortunately people (including several on this forum) think the culture war is where the real battle is.

Pretty sick of dumb-fuck tribalism.

Sad topic but it's only one over the dozens of the same type already posted.
If you want to criticize democrats simply go for Manchin and Sinema. Their next presidential candidate is also an hot subject.

The culture war is important though.

Only to those who are losing the culture war. To have traditional or conservative values is already a losing position. Society always seems to find a trajectory that is more open, accepting, and less violent.

Union leadership is divorced from the wants and needs of union workers. Thats nothing new. The leaders shilled for Biden and donated to democrats and willingly gave up their only leverage by delaying this until after the election, just to help democrats. Most of those union workers probably supported Trump.

Oh yes, what a disaster it would have been for the country if the rail workers.... got their paid sick days.

Joe Biden didn't intervene in this dispute to negotiate a compromise between rail workers and the companies. He intervened to give rail companies what they wanted, and reject all the demands of the workers. Their real wages will drop each year and they will not get the benefits they sought.
This was the greatest betrayal of unions by democrats in living memory, and the highest profile union busting since Reagan fired the air traffic controllers.

I don't understand why he did this and why the rail companies would want this though. If rail workers feel that they are not getting the pay that they deserve, wouldn't they simply quit? And then the companies will have to hire new workers, train them, and then give them sufficiently attractive wages so as to keep them. They could avoid all this by simply paying the existing workers a bit better. Sounds like a dumb business move to me.
