Isn’t it sort of a catch 22 when you are reveling in the loss of a company that single-handedly revolutionized the electric car market while at the same time the platform you support is hell bent on destroying the oil industry thus making Tesla the most important car manufacturer?
I'm probably going to buy a Chevy Bolt EUV, but I want to wait a year or two to let them iron the quirks out that all new cars have to go through.
It actually looks like something I could see myself driving.
I really don't care personally about the oil industry. The energy has to come from somewhere and combustion engines are incredible because the air itself is actually an important part of the fuel.
For commercial energy: Solar and wind are already cheaper then combined cycle, so I see that part of the energy industry moving towards it simply because it costs less.

You guys are consistently proving you don’t actually care about things you claim are important. You have found an inconvenient boogie man. End of story.
@ "You guys" I'm not a liberal. I'm a moderate and I don't agree with liberals on many financial issues. Trump was doing a pretty good job of not wasting an insane amount of the country's money until the pandemic. Which he screwed up when he eliminated the oversight on the distribution of the funds. We'll be dealing with fraud cases for years because of that decision. Edit: The flip side of the no oversight discussion is that it allowed the funds to be rapidly distributed. /edit
