Definitely, they're no different than any for profit business driven by return, and i'm sure their trend analysis just dictates exactly what to put out. It's just a little depressing what is being released is what they're finding to be the most read.

Yeah BBC isn't too bad and I do read Al Jazeera from time to time while recognizing they have some bias, I still find they're good though.

if i had faith in fellow humans i'd be depressed, but long ago i just accepted almost everyone sucks ass. most people will lie to even themselves thinking they want good things, but they slurp down a twinkie with a coke in all aspects of life. media, financially, politically, etc. We've demanded this poor diet and blame those who gave it to us. we want to pretend we're grown but most people need an adult to come in and ban whatever makes them a terrible person, then they'll bitch.

Google has been sued quite a bit in recent years for putting their hand on the scale in treacherous ways to further certain political ends.

Putting R emails in spam folders, only sending vote reminders to certain people, etc. This is just another case with an annoyingly high level of plausible deniability. It clearly stinks to high heaven.

I'm an independent moderate and although some of his policies are fine, others are abominations borrowed from authoritarian countries, that are truly shocking to see deployed in America.

If he runs for POTUS, which I doubt he will, he will just end up being yet another too-far-to-the-right loser.

I'm not suggesting that he won't run in the primary, because doing so would further cement him in as the "King of the Swamp."

I'm not sure why people want to move to Florida and risk the homes they purchased being obliterated by the frequent hurricanes, but I know that DeSantis's style somehow meshes well with the people who think that's a good idea.
