Thanks for the high school government class lesson.

A lot of members of PaRD need more than that.

That's because the media, which is controlled by the left, incessantly shove them into people's faces.

The media is a for profit enterprise and suggesting that it's "controlled by the left" is wrong to an absurd degree.

The media is controlled by money. They run stories that they think their audience will want to hear about because the bigger the audience, the more money the advertising space is worth.

It's just a talking point, like when Fox refers to the mainstream media as if they are not part of it, which is hilariously wrong, as they are the most watched channel on cable.

They're obviously not going to tell you the truth, which is: The words that are read to you off a teleprompter, were written by a staff of 100+ experienced and talented writers and they only care about getting paid.

Edit: You can tell the media works the opposite way most people think it does by looking at the political YouTubers. When they start talking about certain stories, people flock to their channels to watch them, not the other way around. People are not forced into watching it, they want to see it.

I agree with most of it, however I just want to say that being Left and being motivated by money aren't mutually exclusive.

That's fine and I'll actually argue for your point.

Most of the media relies on a concept in marketing known as an avatar.

In the media planning process they sit down and think about the different types of people that might engage with their media.

These representations of people are known as avatars and they design the media around them.

Companies who create products do the same thing.

So you can't really fault the media companies for using a proven process to develop "better products."

The lower tier media outlets also do a strategy called "piggybacking," where instead of writing their own stories, they just have a writer basically say the opposite or something similar to a story that they can see through some kind of analytics is doing well.

That allows them to produce content on a topic that has already proven to do well and it costs them very little to actually produce the media, since no original reporting is needed.

Also, nothing is "hidden" on the internet and there exists software to crawl through everything that has ever been published online.

There are both enterprise level tools and tools for smaller publishers (such as BuzzSumo) that sort this all out and even estimate how popular a piece of content is on social media.

No hope for woke murica
Eating popcorn and watching the American circus growing bigger and bigger
It's now time to set criminals free, indoctrinate children with mentally sick lgbtq+ ideology. Base everything on skin color and pay people to become less productive.
Remember kids everything woke turns to s*it!
In a sick nation where the people in power can't even define what a man or woman is and they think that men are women vice versa.
A man can be pregnant they said!
1 big mental case

I didn't ask for a lesson on how they run media companies.
