If you assault somebody in public the police, even if they are on the scene, probably aren't going to stop you.

They will arrest you after and charge you, but they aren't going to prevent it even if completely able and equipped to do so.

you sound like a city boy (bitch) based on you OP no affiance. I can walk in fields all around me and grab some veggies if i wanted to and be questioned.( I live in california) just don't be a city idiot about it.

The food being left in the field and not sold is because of price 99% is all under contract already. It like the new in California ran 4 days ago the the vineyard's (Wine Grapes) are having to harvest at night because of the heat from climate change. Its all bullshit, 99% of the time there are all harvested at night because they will start to ferment during the heat of the day and winery will reject the load.
