Now you are projecting. You post a topic to discuss race, then get upset when people discuss race. ROFL

You think you are discussing race. I mean, haha. Hahaha.

There's no such thing as an African-American.

If you were born in the US, then you're an American.
If you were born in Africa, then you're an African.

Simple.

African-American is yet another social construct.

Sounds like America hating gobbledygook. Another B- community college response. Maybe score you a date with an ultra liberal black girl from your class too.

I don't hate Americans, where did I write this? Point is some Americans act as if problems specific to their culture and history is the problem of the whole world. Then people like Jesse come around arguing with outdated concepts from middle ages.
Racism as a form of discrimination in US is US' problem. Racism exists everywhere even in African societies among themselves based on outlook, culture etc. but your version is your problem. Don't go generalizing your problem to all around the world because from the comments here I have got a feeling you don't have a clue. I work with a PHD from Ethiopia at work in Hamburg (microbiology). How does he fit your narrative? Well, he doesn't. You can't generalize individuals. And that's the point.

If you're crap as a person doesn't matter of which color or origin you're, still an a-hole in my books.

Calling it "arguing outdated concepts" tells me you didn't even understand my OP. You just saw the word "race" mentioned and you immediately started reacting.

I asked a question that should be answered with only a yes, or a no. And did you ever give a yes or a no? No. You didn't.

Yes, but we are all capable of the same things. The main idea is that being civil brings you above your natural inclination and desires.
We are all just as capable in the civilized world.

Do you mean physical adaptations to climate? That's not a race thing then. I hate to bring it to you but US forensics still work with the outdated Caucasian/Asian/African concepts. The spectrum in Eurasia is much wider. For example, in Caucasus, you can find any phenotype which is present in Western Europe but you wouldn't be able to tell where the person is from unless you check their bone density and minerals in the bones as well. And we aren't even 500 million people.

But your response was ridiculous. You bounced all over from African Americans are not Africans (no shit) to jessi wan being a Caucasian who suggested exterminating black people or some ridiculous shit like that.

Almost everybody agrees, assholes are assholes. You went on a ridiculous rant about things that you brought up and projected on the OP.

Op is literally saying different races of people are different. She didn’t add any moral stance, simply wanted to discuss this. You took it to a completely different level of extreme and projected it to another user.
