the narrative is that she brought stuff with her but that she was medically certified to have it. the problem is russia's position is "maybe its allowed in the US but its not allowed here". when you overlay that position with the political position between the US and Russia it appears unlikely she will be able come home any time soon.

it is the american governement that will determine whether she will be brought home or not (how much will america "pay" for her return). and american people, as a nation, should hold their government to account if she, or other american's like her, are not brought home.



in the off season they have player exchanges / play in other leagues. this is normal for alot of sports. As an example, in hockey off season alot of people try triathlon.

That is a straight up lie, you can get any prescribed medicine to any country as long as you have proof of prescription, you might not be able to purchase it in another country because its not legal but you can definitely get it there. Sometimes it is possible that they call the doctor that prescribed it tho and ask if it is legitimate.

(this is the case in 99% of times, in russia i doubt it would be any different, countries are very lax as long as its been prescribed by a legitimate source). Only countries i can think of that don't allow is like pakistan/india, but i highly doubt russia cares..

She carried an illegal substance into russia and is gonna get punished for it, that is all.
