If a certain group of people participate in a certain behavior, grooming here, then other people who participate in that behavior can be compared to them, and this is called an argument by analogy. It is actually the weakest form of argument but the most common here.
But the post was talking about grooming and I was talking about groomers. I also didn't say one is any better than the other, although historically speaking, drag queens are way safer to be around children than holy men, and this is just a fact not opinion.
But I won't deny and I'll concede that arguments by analogy usually fall into Whataboutism.
