So what about all those other non-white ethnic groups more successful than blacks, or even whites? Came here as penniless refugees or labor migrants, whose English was limited to "hello" and their average incomes are among the highest and their incarceration rates among the lowest.
Surely, if those groups can overcome obstacles like that, then something like segregation and redlining that ended over 50 years ago can be overcome? Unless of course, there's something consistently wrong that prolongs underperformance well past time period that can be considered reasonable.
