You meant that it's not a crime that's punishable by law.

In a legal sense, abortion is not murder. But thats only because we have structured our laws in such a way as to make abortion not murder. However, in a philosophical way, it can be argued that abortion is indeed murder. I mean, it's the intentional ending of a human life. How can this not be murder?

you're free tofeel that way, but it's up to society as a whole to decide that. modern secular societies disagree with your feelings. they decided abortion is a right, and women's bodily autonomy more important than the feelings of religious fundamentalists regarding other people's zygotes and fetuses. they decided it's not the government's right to treat women as second class citizens, and it's unjust that a minority of bigoted zealots is trying (and in large parts of america already de facto HAS for years) to change that and establish taliban rules regarding women, lgbtq+ people, education, religion, race...
