Go grab your nearest ticket from the glove box and let me know what it says on the box :) you have every right and entitlement to appear in court to decide the fate of your ticket.
Every right = obligation which equates to impending guilt
If you have to waste your time and or prepare for a hearing to disprove a claim(s), that is infact guilty until proven innocent, kiddo.
If you don't show up you are found guilty, how can they prove guilt if you didn't appear?
It's very simple, they have the power to do whatever they want, you have to defend yourself usually by not making it worth their time to pursue or charge.
It's not hard to use your frontal lobe, try it sometime. Might = right, that's reality you're not living in it apparently.
