I can and have, to the point of exhaustion. They are always full of shit and don't understand very basic things about the situation.

If you truly do give the doubters a chance to speak, then good for you.

But anyway, my point still stands. People should always be a little doubtful about things that they cannot verify themselves. This is a reasonable stance.

Nobody has ever said you shouldn't have some skepticism about sources.

That's not what you are trying to do. You are trying to justify selective skepticism.
