insulin is priceless to T1D

Then they should be willing to pay a lot for it. Nothing wrong with that. That's just how life works and BIG GOVERNMENT shouldn't make people SLAVES because you have a medical problem.

If somebody thinks insulin costs too much they will sell it to you for less than it's worth out of the goodness of their heart and will take 100% of the business from the expensive one. See? FREE MARKET SOLVES THE PROBLEM!

Part of me thinks why do we need to give cheap medication to people who have trouble keeping their hands off donuts and soda pop.

So you support cheap meds for Type 1 patients, but not type 2?

Just trying to clarify since I worry you think all diabetes was self inflicted.

I am aware. The government subsidy only gives a free get out jail card to both or neither. I would like they separate the two to some degree because my money ends up helping out the non health conscious NPCs.
Just like all the communist bums who are 100% capable of holding a job but claim some kind of welfare.

I could see this being a more practical approach considering they differentiate genetic and self inflicted injuries in other areas of healthcare. If this could gain bipartisan support it would definitely help many.

Problem I see with that is that Republicans tend to cater to the group that makes up Type 2 diabetes and forsaking them is probably not going to happen.

It's kind of a weird thing with stuff like SNAP/WIC since the income guidelines are a bit silly. 15/hr jobs still entitle families to hundreds of dollars of benefits, but 16 can disqualify and end up being a pay cut and therefore create financial stress.

I think a lot of these programs in their current states are outdated and need serious overhauls, but welfare in general is a problem inflamed by low base pays in places like walmart which more or less makes tax payers responsible for their crappy pay.

consume more raw ginger, gingerols bypass insulin response cycle and help reverse diabetes.

gingerols force sugar into the muscles where it can be stored and then used instead of causing spikes and crashing damage.

It's all about endocrinological efficiency, exercising also helps far more than calorie restriction

Type 1 diabetes is genetic. You can't fix it with ginger

Genetics are a triad: genes, environment, protein synthesis,
Epigenetics can be affected by food via protein synthesis or the same anatomical channels you bio metabolize pharmaceuticals though at a lower efficiency than injections.
