Isn’t the governor of California boasting a surplus? Maybe give the tax payers a break. Quit pushing people into my state and get a fiscal grip!

4.69 when I filled up this week for premium

Thats a hell of a good price for premium gasoline

That sentence was a precaution because I obviously can't remember every single thing I've ever said about Democratic economic policy plans, lol.
Again: I've criticized lots of their economic policies, but I imho didn't demonize any halfway sane economic policy proposals. Since you seem so sure that my memory is wrong on that one, you can surely point me to an example where I not just criticized but demonized one of their economic policies.

You're going to use "demonize" as a smoke screen. No matter what I find you'll say "dude, that's not *demonizing*, I just disagreed with it, and the meta conversation about what constitutes demonization isn't worth having".

when did the price gouging start?

For starters there was a federal decrease in oil drilling. Biden stopped all drilling on parks and tree places etc.

Then Biden upped the regulations on oil, increasing the prices of barrels instantaneously.

Then there was the Keystone XL.

And now there is the Ukraine debacle.

Basically anyone with a brain could have seen this coming a mile away.

Oh, gas prices from 15 years ago.

Those sound pretty good to me.

A single jug of juice here costs $25 CAD, so id say I'm pretty desensitized to prices. Gas is cheaper than water here by a significant margin. At least our gas is highly subsidized. Food on the other hand, not so much.

It will be interesting to see how much freight costs go up per KG this year on our dry good shipment for the year..... and flats of beer.

Given the size, weight, and average consumption of these bullshit american cars, pick-ups and 4x4s, I hope the liter will rise to 5€. Sorry, the gallon at $20.56

$4.58 premium at 16 gallon tank to fill up today. ouch. needless to say i’ll be driving it less for the foreseeable future.

fortunately that evil non-renwable energy producer Musk, who the lefties and “green energy” zealots hate due to him being African-American, produced a relatively accessible car i can charge in the wall outlet in my garage.

thank goodness for capitalism where i can use funds derived from my labor in my own home to purchase one of each *LAUGH OUT LOUD*

You mean filling the tanks of the massive semi truck fleet that operates the vast majority of America's domestic logistics? Yeah, really looking forward to jacking up the price of literally everything due to rising energy costs, so that the poor and working class get fucked even harder.
