For starters there was a federal decrease in oil drilling. Biden stopped all drilling on parks and tree places etc.

Then Biden upped the regulations on oil, increasing the prices of barrels instantaneously.

Then there was the Keystone XL.

And now there is the Ukraine debacle.

Basically anyone with a brain could have seen this coming a mile away.

Oh, gas prices from 15 years ago.

Those sound pretty good to me.

A single jug of juice here costs $25 CAD, so id say I'm pretty desensitized to prices. Gas is cheaper than water here by a significant margin. At least our gas is highly subsidized. Food on the other hand, not so much.

It will be interesting to see how much freight costs go up per KG this year on our dry good shipment for the year..... and flats of beer.
