One hypersonic that you can't dodge or shoot down will slam right through a carrier turning it into a bath tub very quickly. No nukes required. No naval fleet required even.

You should update your knowledge on modern naval warfare. Here's a hint: 3M22 Zircon

Russia started freaking out about Western actions long before the coup against a democratically elected government in Ukraine. They started freaking out when missiles were placed in Poland. The whole development of hypersonic missiles was a direct retaliation to that action, and being completely ignored about their valid outrage. Not only were they completely ignored, the West kept pushing. Any and every attempt to assert self defence was met with sanctions and/or threats.
Also, whether Russia can get full use out of the strategically important Crimea on any particular day has absolutely no bearing on its strategic importance. Them owning it means NATO doesn't. That is by far its greatest value.
