*A white dude born in Wisconsin looks like a monkey. Got it.*

If not white. Who then.

So which rulings has Judge Jackson made in her years on the courts that would not just be the DNC line copy/paste?
I'd be interested to see if she's just going to be another Sotomayor / Kagan with no individual thought, or if there's a chance she could be like some of the recent conservative picks and have sincere ideological convictions that transcend partisanship

Am I reading right that she sided with the Trump administration in Center for Biological Diversity v. McAleenan? But she did rule against the Trump admin in multiple cases that got reversed on appeal even by the dc circuit. To her credit, she's had a lot of experience with some of the most politically charged and radioactive court cases and has shown herself to be relatively tame, definitely not a firebrand, albeit usually on questions of statutory interpretation and esoteric syntax instead of the meat of arguments on abortion and gun rights. However its still her opinion in the McGahn case that makes her dangerous, even if she ruled narrowly she opined with charged language.

Still, trying to predict supreme court pick behaviors even based on decades of history can be a total crapshoot. Look at Merrick Garland. He has been the zealous authoritarian, Biden's own Beria in his pursuit of political opponents while totally disregarding the crime wave, and has not taken a single independent action. During his nomination process, people made him out to be a milquetoast centrist who would straddle the partisan divide. Right now he's trying republicans for sedition and turning a blind eye to antifa. Honestly even if Judge Jackson had spent her youth volunteering and planned parenthood and distributing leaflets for greenpeace, she might get on the court and have an ideological shift as grand as oliver wendell holmes jr and start sending abortionists to the gallows

Credibility of the courts are seriously undermined now. They have been doing so much activism they are not to be trusted.

Also a couple of them are legislating through faith and that is getting ugly.

Merrick Garland still has a sore butthole from his confirmation failure.

Is there any instance in the past 80 years of a judge being nominated by a Democrat and then ending up on the court's conservative bloc, i.e. the Democratic equivalent to Blackmun/Souter/Stevens? To the best of my knowledge, these ideological misfires have only ever gone in one direction during our lifetime.
