The left also seems to live in a vacuum. The former president attempted to overturn a valid election, basically trying to end the republic as we know it; and being pro-coup, or at least anti-anti-coup, is now required to be a successful Republican politician, but they can't support Biden because his trillions of new spending isn't enough. The collective amnesia of Jan. 6th, and all that preceded it, doesn't only exist on the right.
