So why are the highest increases in murder rates in Republican states?

And yet Fresno, Tulsa, Nashville, Houston and dozens of other cities that didn't cut police budgets are also seeing the same surge in crime.

This is the dumbest counter I've ever heard. The crime stats are known across the country. You're trying to attribute Chicago's increase in crime to a single mayors rhetoric when crime is up across the country for probably another reason. If crime was up in only municipalities that cut police funding you would have a point, but its up everywhere.

The point is crime raised everywhere, and was higher in Republican states despite them not defunding the police.

Did you even see the vid in OP of that thread? It was NOT only murder like you conveniently picked but carjacking and all kind of violent crime. Chicago is being overrun by criminals but I'm repeating myself here
