They only see one side and their problems what about the employers who have to put up with all kinds of bs from the workers, under delivering and under performing, not coming in on time, abusing company time getting paid for posting nonsense on jsp while they should be working, stealing.

Not saying there are perfect business owners the point is people are dicks on either side.
The point is if the employees dont like their conditions/pay they negotiate for a raise or leave
likewise The employers don't like their employers underperforming or stealing then they can negotiate/discipline or just fire someone

These idiots instead of being adults decide to strike, wave signs, post tweets and in general cry like babies. Anything but try and solve the problem

Employers create metrics that are physically impossible so that they can deny bonuses by claiming "underperformance".

Employers don't care about you, and they have no reason to play fair. The only negotiating tool against them is threatening them with annihilation via the law or legal protest.

I've worked in several big companies before deciding to being my own boss. Never had any problems, Asked for a pay raise and got it. Got lots of free training and certificates. The pay wasn't great but I knew exactly what I signed up for.
Bonuses are a motivational carrot, one should never rely or make it a sole reason to work for that company. No one even told me there are bonuses is that some new Gen Z concept?

Employers usually don't care about you is because you are a worker bee just like the rest of the people there. You are there to perform a function. If you want a caring employer make a family business and only family

You do realize kellogs is a multi billion dollar empire right, the employees made them that, not the ceo or the board of directors.
A single person has ZERO bargaining power.

So that's not what I asked, even if you ever were denying the raises does that mean you never asked for a raise yourself. Or did you deny your own raise?
When I asked for a small raise I had a good reason and was able to demonstrate my extra contribution to the company. And i got it after only 1 year of working there as an assistant manager. If i stayed there eventually would of become a manager and then regional staff manager etc along with pay increases.

In management you get the raise, its the employees that only get one in line with cpi.

You were the winner in this scenario. You may have to explain it to St. Peter, but you were the winner in the end.

The incentives are weird. If the senior management feels like they can bend you into the shape of their designs, they will invest just enough in you to prevent you from quitting. But it's foolish to think that they care about you.

I have found 3 yearly job changes are always better than asking for a raise or a promotion once you hit a decent level.
