modern american "conservatism" is just mccarthyism on steroids, fearmongering and appealing to the bigotry of ignorant people. the fact that 90% of pard's "conservatives" are openly racist scumbags, who couldn't give you an even remotely adequate definition of what "socialism" actually is, just proves how rotten and shallow that ideology has become.
Elon Musk has done more for this world than most. Do you own a Tesla? If not, you're not doing your part to reduce climate change. It's one thing to talk about climate change, but Musk is actually saving the planet. I see no reason to take away his shares which will cause him to lose decision making in the company. Once that happens, investors will only care about earnings and not the Earth.
As for socialism, the definition is government programs that help people who don't need it.
