The people who attacked my friend 5v1 were black yes.

Scene - Public property, basketball courts about 30 ft away from a freshly built skatepark.

"get out of my park"
Friend - "Fuck you"

Your friend shouldn't have antagonized them then. How would you feel if a black person came on your property and started playing football on your lawn, eating from your garden, etc.?

I read that but case law shows that destitute people may claim public areas as their home. You typically need an order from the mayor to clear a public place to "reclaim" it. Did your friend have a written memo from the mayor?

This wasn't in Oregon or California if that answers your question.

Dude are you serious? You shouldn't need any "memo" from nobody to "reclaim" any public space.

If destitute people can claim public spaces as their homes then I guess entire streets (where they sleep on) will be no-go zones.

But I am not talking about historically. I am talking about now.

Public spaces are for the public. It's not anybody's private property. You can't tell someone to get out of "your" park.
