if you're having powdery mildew issues its likely 1 of 3 things:
1. too much undergrowth from 1 foot on down. tomatoes specifically, trim ALL branches from 1 foot on down. best practice is from you first fruiting branch on down even if its 24" up.
2. lack of elevation, dont vine grow items like cucumbers, get them off the ground on a tomato cage or trelis
3. wrong time of day watering, water during the heat of the day. while you'll lose a lot to evaporation you wont have stagnation that allows mildew.
i used to have tomato mildew issues then i started the single stem method and ive not had any issues since. 2x the plants but 3x the overall harvest with no issues.
We had lot of rain this season as well. I talked bout the heat but forgot bout the rain we had. But yeah, very good tips .
Do you have a picture of your tomatoes? Usually, my garden is spot on but this year, i fucked up adding too much. Less space than usual between the plants and with all the rain/humidity, i shot myself in the foot.
