I have spent a lot of time in Canada, and I can confirm that it's the most American place outside the United States.

In some regards sure. Definitely different when it comes to what’s most important though (thankful for this as a Canadian).

Out of all those, I think I'd choose Australia. It's the most similar to California climate wise and that's the most important thing to me. Also, I've never met an Aussie who wasn't fun.

Sorry, this is according to * The 2021 Best Countries rankings, formed in partnership with BAV Group and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania * not a random internet search for “best country” like you are showing.
It clearly states in the intro what factors are taken into consideration for QOL (obvious). I’m sorry if you don’t like it or have a personal quarrel with any of the top 10 countries but that doesn’t change anything.

Unfortunately your list is from some random school of a poor US state, and does not contain all "best" countries.
Too many factors have to be taken in account.

"Best country to live in" is too vague, depends of need:

- Age ( heathcare or not)
- Initial wealth
- Initial language
- Initial education level
- For a family or single life
- For a career or not really
- Personal preference ( urban, rural, religion)

The lists i have posted are studies from some various and serious sources, wikipedia is pretty decent too IMO.

/nb finland is maybe nice but the language is one of the most hard to learn in the world

affordable, a good job market, economically stable, family friendly, income equality, politically stable, safe, well-developed public education system and well-developed public health system are the 9 major factors here, as has been stated.

It’s not “my” list lol. Thanks though!

Norway is an incredibly wonderful country. Oslo is fairly expensive though

Switzerland, NZ, Denmark are all attractive too. Tbh that is a good list up and down. Not much diversity though, racists *LAUGH OUT LOUD*

House near a lake in Swiss is pretty good, still 1 million euros tho. Nice spot btw, along with NZ.

Surprised not one person has chosen Sweden or Finland in the poll yet!
