Unlike you I've actually followed the literature tracing the viruses origins. The most similar virus studied in the lab that is constantly touted in the conspiracy theory wouldn't be similar enough to mutate into SARS-Cov-2 via animal passage, which leaves splicing that leaves very distinct markers. So we can be reasonably certain it is not a "lab virus", unless you mean it was a natural sample collected by the lab and accidentally released with no modification.

I find it hilarious every time I encounter somebody like you, who thinks they can tell experts how things work because they took a bio 101 course ten years ago. (not saying I'm an expert, but I am sharing the opinion of experts after I examined the papers they wrote).
