some people want to blame the Israelis, some want to blame the Palestinians. but the real target of blame should be the Germans, they did this. They made it happen. Most say idly by and assumed the smell of burning hair wafting into their window was just in their imagination.

The hard right and left wing positions on Israel are both wrong. I vehemently support Israel's right to exist (which leftists don't) while also vehemently opposing their illegal expansion into the West Bank (which right wingers don't)

In this particular case, it's Israel's fault. They stoked tensions by holding nationalist marches outside a sacred mosque and attempting to evict Palestinians from their homes because 'muh ancestors lived here'. Imagine someone coming to your house saying their ancestor lived on your plot of land so it belongs to them. You'd tell them to fuck rite off, wouldn't you Chris?
