That's a ridiculous misrepresentation of the geological facts. A magnitude 9.1 earthquake like in Japan 2011, or anything even remotely close to this magnitude, is literally impossible in Western Europe. As is a massive tsunami. I never claimed that nuclear energy doesnt come with significant risks, I only said that the types of risks which led to the meltdown in Fukushima are non-factors in our country... and that it thus was foolish to base strategic decisions with huge long-term ramifications on the events in Japan which were objectively irrelevant for the situation in Europe.
you literally claimed that germany was not at risk of earthquakes, even though that is not only factually incorrect, but also has been the very reason for shutting down a german nuclear power plant long before fukushima ever happened. now dishonestly moving the goalpost to
"w-w-well i only meant 9.1 earthquakes or worse", when experts have repeatedly and specifically warned of earthquakes (and other geological factors, see neckarwestheim) regarding german nuclear power plants, is pathetic face-saving at best, and shitty propaganda either way.
you claiming it's "objectively irrelevant" is a blatant lie, that you can only "justify" by making the mental gymnastics of suggesting that anything short of an earthquake of that magnitude in combination with a tsunami could not possibly lead to a nuclear accident of devastating proportions, which is ridiculous.
