James O'keefe is a very very dishonest human being and a grifter. Not a lot besides that...they just have a reputation that demonstrates they will trick their audiences into emotional responses with creative fictional videos starring unwitting people and edited to serve an agenda.

They are less serious and honest than a borat film, but similar.

They started with the Acorn video where they edited it to look like they were dressed as a pimp and a hooker, while the person seen through it, verballed them, and told them to gtfo after they made asses of their self. They shared the intro conversation where they were being treated politely and made it seem like they were doing things they were, and passed them off as a sting operation.

Do you remember the unsolved mysteries reenactments? It would be like looking at one of those that someone highly partisan made to make the other people look as bad as possible.

They made a Planned Parenthood tape that tricked a lot of people based on not knowing clinical language and realities. By the end of that video gullible people believed that planned parenthood aborts babies to sell the fetuses as a business model, lol. Everyone knows that is profoundly stupid, profoundly, but the same people believe that there is a deep state conspiracy leaking top secret coup information to bored racist soccer moms.
