It probably depends on your textbook. You grew up in a state that values education so I imagine that your exposure to history was vastly superior relative to other Americans.

It's worth noting that the anti-lockdown movement is not exclusive to the United States.

There is really no difference in my mind between people who believe that the government is engaged in a conspiracy to steal individual liberties and people who believe the government is engaged in a conspiracy to support white supremacy.

Why do you talk that way? It's almost as obnoxious as "yikes".

It's been used in the vernacular well before that Wikipedia article was written. Focus on the anti-semites in your party (Omar, Tlaib), and the broader left movement (Corbyn) before you start criticizing others for their choice of language.
