This is like saying you don't have to worry about someone falling off the wagon or succumbing back to their drug addiction because they kept it together for a month. They should be looked at realistically. Biden is a 77 year old man with a history of gaffes. In key moments like the Bernie debate, the convention speech, the CNN town hall, and now the first presidential debate, he performed well. He's clearly cognitively functioning at an adequate level.

The only evidence we have is that Biden is able to function adequately if he only has to do so for 1-2 hours at a time, once every one or two weeks. That's what we have evidence for. Not more, not less.

Why are you bending over backwards to keep right wing propaganda alive? Biden has given absolutely no indication that he isn't able to adequately function.

How about the fact that he does far less public appearances than any other presidential candidate in modern history? During this campaign, Biden has repeatedly gone MIA for weeks on end for no good reason. Last week, his team called a lid ridiculously early almost evey single day, supposedly because he was oh-so busy preparing for the debate. Well, he didnt exactly set the world on fire with his performance. Like IceMage said, he was barely adequate.

Biden has events every week, both online and in person. I don't watch them, but I assume he's not drooling or speaking incoherently.

There's a literal pandemic, and he has no reason to go out heavily campaigning.

Your observations can be very simply explained without having to invoke some shady conspiracy to prop him up Weekend at Bernie's style.

I have to imagine it's his cognitive decline and not trying to come up with strategy during a pandemic, trying to figure out to transition from an extremely hostile president, etc.
