In most cases I think it's just a failure to fully flesh out the argument. They have biological advantages because they are male. Ergo, they should not be allowed to play sports that are specific to females. Perhaps we need to revert to using exclusively sex-based terms. I'm not sure that would appease the trans-community, however, as some activists appear to be convinced that they can even transcend the realities of biological sex.

In any case, I'm not sure this is similar to the OP, which is a case of internet libel gone wrong. Are these cyber-bullies accusing trans people of committing crimes that would jeopardize their day to day life?

People get falsely accused of things all the time, but you don't see them dying by suicide.

For example, Cam gets accused of being a worthwhile contributor by right-wing folks on PaRD, but he seems to be doing just fine.

There's hardly any anti-trans rhetoric on pard and no trans person that frequents this place has killed themselves. Kiseki scaly and churchgirl are all alive and well.

This isn't one of those things where "both sides do it". 9 times out of 10 it is the sjw mob piling on someone over social justice causes with charges of sexism, racism, transphobia etc. Racism against asians as an example is only bad when a white male tech ceo rants about asians in a restaurant but when black folks go after Korean liquor stores no one says anything. It's very selective liberal outrage that doesn't really care to check facts or consequences.
