I live in a fly in only town that's very small right now. No restrictions on atv and snowmobile usage. Everyone just takes them to get groceries for instance. You can just go any direction anytime and you will never see a single person.

No mountains though which is not what I want long term. I enjoy downhill skiing much more than kite skiing.

I'll never choose a place based on political alignment. I find nice people wherever I go and ass holes wherever I go.

That kind of sounds like the Northwest Angle of Minnesota. Fly or ferry in across Lake of the Woods only, due to the closed border with Canada.

I love being remote until it's time to fly. Iv never once made my connecting flight. Weather plus dirt runways make for constant delays and mechanical failure.
