so your reply to realising how asinine your attempt at overselling america's true power was, is two blatant strawmen? strong 'arguments' there, little buddy.
regarding the first: i explicitly acknowledged the sophistication and supremacy of the USN. you guys are undeniably the best at war (would be embarrassing if you weren't, considering you spend more than the next 7 largest militaries, many of which your allies), is that not enough for your little ego? you'd have a grand old time showing the chinese how those trillions of tax dollars were excellently invested - for bullying small nations without a nuclear arsenal. you'd probably sink a whole lot of 'troop transports', so at least you jingoists would vaporise with a proud feeling in your heart when the nukes drop.
regarding the second: of course it doesn't. that's why china wouldn't go to all-out war with you over iran, despite their close relationship. but that's not the scenario we're discussing here, so i didn't really think it was necessary to explain something so obvious. considering your previous posts, however, i really should have accounted for your inability to do even the simplest kind of critical thinking, as all you did was basically regurgitate navy propaganda videos that made you feel patriotic about pissing away healthcare and education for some exciting new toys...
China isn't going to do something militarily about Taiwan for the same reason we aren't going to get into a shooting war with them over it in the first place: nuclear power. But we're delving into the fantasy world of thought experiments here, where if they did indeed decide to push the issue militarily, that STILL doesn't mean they're going to provoke a nuclear confrontation over it, because MAD cuts both ways. So in the thought experiment world of an armed confrontation over Taiwan, it is still extremely likely that any engagement will be non-nuclear. So no, nukes aren't going to drop, and China will find out just how big the gap still is between the USN and the rest of the world, chump.
