My example was perhaps a bit on the high end, but yes, I would expect the median white millenial to receive a six figure inheritance.

I got my dad's .38 when he died lol.

My kids stand to do a little better, but i also have a wife who is ten years younger than me, so she will have that third act after i go.

I get about the same from my mother, she is worth around a million, there is 9 of us.
Stephs parents are separated and both own homes in the capital city of australia and she is an only child so I guess she will get like 1.5, definitely a privilege, we will probably donate a good chunk since we dont need it.
