I wasn't aware we had statues of them as well as slavers.

Germamy recently tore down all their statues of hitler, rommell, joseph goebbels, and other monuments dedicated to them and their rich history of nazism recently, why shouldn't we?

If Germany wanted to jump off a bridge, would you do it too?

I wouldn't normally wish to jump off a bridge, but i do want a more just and inclusive society.

I failed to get a guy who has alzheimers disease who thought he could escape a locked unit out of jail yesterday so he could get an eval at the hospital. He had to spend the night in jail because he was demented and shoved an aide and they called the police.

I'm not sure how many citizens of germany are in jail for demonstrating the symptoms of alzheimers while at a place that is supposed to be dementia care. Probably zero.

I'm not a cultural relativist glot, i think cultures can be right or wrong, good or bad. Germany just seems to have the luck of having better people than the United States for the most part, right now.

It's a lot easier having a cohesive population when you only have 83 mill people to worry about.

83 million people is a lot.

California has about 39-40 million people and if it was its own country would have the third or fourth highest GDP in the world.

No state is really overpopulated. We just don't want it. Too many people are fatalistic and say we can't, our history is too bloody, our people too different. We can, but the Democrats need to realize what the Republicans do in that you cannot just buy justice or redistribute wealth to achieve it. Republicans have to just want justice again. The slaves were freed on the anniversary of today because of the actions of a Republican president. We can have law and order and not have oppression, and it isn't about putting the blacks back in place like all these reactionary anti-BLM ideologies are attempting. That ain't happening anymore.

We have like 4.5x as many people. Germany is the size of Texas.






In the US the only folks I see that aren't wanting justice are the left/Dems. They've been cheating their asses off for almost 4 years.
And it's not about putting blacks back in their places, it's about put all the rioters back in their places. Which will happen.
