Comparing the two viruses and responses is nonsensical. The R0 isn't the same, death rate, incubation rate, etc, not the same, it's not even apples to oranges.

Secondly a change in an executive office administration doesn't lead to some monumental shifts in policy or manuals being re-written on infectious diseases and responses. Scientists or medical professionals are not somehow being limited or changed procedure 24 hours after Trump was elected president.

It's an extremely low-iq dig at Trump considering many first world nations in western Europe who claim to have better healthcare than us also struggled. Trump is not god nor is he all knowing and omnipresent. Basically youre comparing the most sensitive method of testing for h1n1 against the least sensitive method for covid, which is why I wanted to know the methodology for h1n1
