not too familiar with her work on the bolded but i'd wager it's a mischaracterization of opposition to transitioning children at an early age, does she oppose trans people getting access to hormonal treatments once they are of legal age? i'd be surprised if she was

trying to be purposefully deceptive with vague word choice

he could just as easily called it what for what it is, which is she opposes gender reassignment medical procedures for kids

No she opposes puberty blockers, social transition and affirmation. All evidence based best practice for trans and GNC kids.

I'm not being deceptive buddy. You need something clarified or expanded upon then I'm happy to do so.

I realise it's a complicated topic and I'm pretty knowledgeable on it but even I have stuff to learn so I hardly expect the average chap to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of it.

Yea it is really. Multiple studies confirm that supporting children in their identities results in mental health outcomes comparable to their cis peers whereas not doing so increases depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation.
Same is true for puberty blockers. As recent as this January in fact a study has been released on them showing they decrease the risk of suicide.

But we also have many reported cases of children changing their mind about their gender identity after puberty.
