to which 'discussion'? those that were specifically described as NOT being negotiations? it's not a "lack of good faith" to reject invitations to hardly disguised photo ops. if you have sources for invitations to actual good faith negotiations on equal terms, which they refused without a good reason, please provide them - that would change my perspective. you know what's an ACTUAL demonstration of a lack of good faith in this matter?
- moving the US embassy to jerusalem
- cutting funding for UNWRA, the UN agency in charge of palestinian refugees
- uncritically supporting israel's right wing government
- stopping all US aid to the palestinian authority
- officially recognising the golan heights as israeli territory
actions speak louder than words or 'plans' (which btw were immediately identified as ridiculous and unrealistic by foreign policy and middle east experts around the world).
