Alright. Let me get this straight:

A president who's term limited and ordinarily cant run again seeks an exception. The legislature forces a referendum on this issue. The Bolivian public firmly rejects giving him an exception/the chance at another term. He runs anyway, god knows how. He fails to achieve a majority of the votes, and only suuuper iffy occurances allow him to avoid the runoff where he would be toast. There are massive allegations of manipulation against this result. Protests bubble up, there's violence from goon squads which are aligned with him, also violence by protesters. The protests escalate in scope and size. The unions and other former allies officially abandon him and join the protesters. He calls for the military to clean up the protests. The military refuses and recommends him to step down instead. His only allies left are some goon squads and some farmers, political allies are stepping down left and right. He applies for asylum in Mexico and leaves the country.

Far-left folks in the West claim that there was a coup by the military, orchestrated by fascist/capitalist groups from outside. According to them, the tens to hundreds of thousands of protesters on the streets were either supporters of his, and he only had to flee the country because the couping military would threaten to assassinate him, which they didnt right in the beginning because ?????. Oooor that these protesters are all paid off/part of the coup/far right racist "christofascist" genocidal scum who wants to massacre the country's indogenous population and/or sell the country's natural resources to Western corporations for cheap, which of course would easily leave enough profits in the country for all the tens to hundreds of thousands of them. Mmmmkay.

This is a far right group that is hellbent on the ethnic cleansing of their nation. The usurper president just announced a country 'free from satanic indigenous rights' saying, 'I dream of a Bolivia free of satanic Indigenous rights. The city is not for Indians! Kick them out of Altiplano and Chaco!'. When they took over they declared that the government would be one of christ and to purge indigenous people from it. These are the dudes you're saying are not fascist throwing some hitler salutes -


The word 'fascist' is completely appropriate here. Christofascist is more accurate.
