These transgender topics are sooo subjective, and so much information is biased, omitted or tailored per when these stories/anecdotes are published. I have mixed feelings, I think the family and kid can choose to identify however they like, but it bothers me because the transgender community has higher suicide rate and a minor is involved. Think mental health problems statistically higher and are correlated, but causes vary due to external social sources coming into play.

Allowing someone to make unnecessary, substantial medical decisions for minors who are incapable of rendering legally informed decisions which will affect them permanently is child abuse.

Both the HGH and playing football before the age of 25 are medically damaging to those whose brains aren’t formed yet. So is working out and weight lifting, which causes a substantial hormonal influence over physiology vs the status quo. I suppose we should ban exercise before the age of 25 just to be sure we aren’t maiming our children with hormones. And dairy products as well. They have a known bioidentical effect in humans, so cow estrogens feminize our children if we force them to consume dairy. Fortunately soy exists as a healthy alternative which has been scientifically proven not to have the same hormonal influence as dairy. But conservatives seem to prefer to maim their children by forcing them to consume dairy and other animal by-products which influence hormonal regulation in humans.
