apparently that's almost impossible in these hyper partisan times. people are so committed to 'their' side, that they will literally vote against their own best interest, and blindly defend anything someone does or says, just because the person doing it happens to represent their team...

I've posted here off and on for years, but any serious discussion I've attempted since Trump's rise to the Republican nominee has turned into a shit show within minutes. I've given up hope for any serious discussions regarding the current administration and I apologize for automatically assuming you were looking for specific examples so you could go "this is racist because [insert something that's irrelevant]", that's on me.

That doesn't mean I'm shit posting or incapable of having a discussion. By the way, my post wasn't in response to you, it was in response to the shit poster above you, which is what I've come to expect in PARD.

i didnt vote for trump. i dont support like 90% of his policies. i wont vote for him in 2020. i think he says a lot of racist and dumb shit. i think its mostly because he thinks very little about what he's going to say and also he tries to make people mad like a 4 year old. i think he has standard 70+ year old rich white guy racism. and at the same time i think the media tries really hard to turn a lot of mundane stuff into more serious accusations than they should. and admit trump brings it on himself.

For whatever reason, the left hasn't figured out that reaching suppppper hard on not racist comments makes it seem like all the racist shit he does say is the exact same thing.
