Well, it's not like I am unaware of the fact that cops shoot black people, I get pretty worked up over it. I simply view it as the lesser of two evils that blacks are openly armed and sometimes shot, than disarmed and sometimes shot.

Perspective is a bit diff. When talking about non-self inflicted gun violence (cuz suicide is at the top), gang violence accounts fo 80 percent of gun violence outside of law enforcement (17 percent overall)

I have a hard time believing that all non gang related crime including domestic violence, suicides, crimes of passion, etc, make up less than 20% of gun crime.

Also considering the vast majority of people in jail are not convicted of any crime I'm not sure how serious I would take the American criminal Justice system. Lol. They don't know what the f**** they're doing.

Yep. Instead of jail i meant incarcerated. Kidnapped and locked in a steel cage to get specific. Lol.

It turns out the vast majority of people going back to incarceration off a parole or probation are not committing new crimes either.

It's too bad they don't actually address recidividism. The price of choosing punishment over rehabilitation.

Cook County jail is the largest provider of mental health services in the State of Illinois. Now that mental illness and homelessness are criminal our jails will always be full.
