Lots of these fears aren't so "irrational" though. Spiders, heights, and so on can be potentially lethal so years of evolution have programmed us to be afraid of them.
Similarly, I'm pretty sure the default reaction to some gargantuan man dressing up as a woman and wanting to chop his dick off is to recoil in disgust.
Combine that with the fact that these people want to normalize their ridiculous lifestyle and brainwash children into thinking it's normal while threatening physical violence against those that disagree is more than enough to make a fear of them pretty rational.
heights aren't lethal, falling and impact can be tho. fear of heights is not only entirely irrational, i have it. it's interesting, i never ever had it my whole life. did plenty of things where it would trigger. then last summer i climbed to the top of a light house, and despite enjoying the views and having a great time my knees just won't strengthen. wobbly knees like i'm talking to a hot senior on the first day of freshman year. i can even try to make it stop and it just carries on. its, for me at least, a subconscious fear that i actively try to repress to no avail.
that of course has nothing to do with the topic and doesnt even need to be respond to tbh.
