These events will continue to happen because, shocker, they have always happened.

Claiming that the current social climate had anything more than a tertiary effect is silly, there have always been police who's moral compass has always prevented them from shooting unarmed people. And twitter hashtags are the last thing going through your head when a boot is on your face.

There always will be cops who are taken advantage of because of their kind hearted nature, this is a foregone conclusion given the heterogeneous blend of personalities that cops have.

This only highlights the reason we need more non-lethal weapons at the cop's disposal and mandatory hand-to-hand combat training on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for all cops. If we put enough non-lethal weapons on a cops belt to stop but not kill a small crowd, teach them how and when to use them, and turn them into badasses who have actual physical advantages over members of the public we would see less but still some of these cases, and less but still some misuse of force with gun cases.

And now we'll see if the state doesn't charge him or if the judge accepts a plea of self-defense by the black man. They take self-defense pleas even when you're the only one armed now I hear, if you're in one of those pussy Red States where men don't fight anymore.

Cops shoot armed man in Ferguson, official story is 2 groups of protesters/agitators were exchanging fire with each other, gunman flees to parking lot, unmarked car of cops pulls up, he shoots at cop car, is shot and arrested.

Further protests planned today to speak out against this, could be misinformation of what will happen, could be misinformation provided to protesters, could be all misinformation.

Point is Ferguson is ready for another round of riots, apparently store front windows were already being broken last night, but nothing on the scale of last year. My prediction is that Ferguson will burn again either tonight or tomorrow.

Its sad that even when the DOJ rolls into town to expose and hopefully reform the issues protests still follow. Reform doesnt happen over night, and it rarely happens without the DOJ probe that Ferguson already had. I personally hope a non-violent protest follows, another news cycle of burning CVS stores will ruin this town.

This is unacceptable that people are making jokes about this, it is a savage beating that requires the swiftest of justice ... this is just as sick as the other way around...

But let me be clear.... this does NOT justify cops to go trigger happy because of non compliance, this is the reality and the danger of being an officer of the law, they do NOT get to pass that danger on to the average civilian because they are terrified of this happening to them, if they are scared of this outcome, don't be a cop...as simple as that.
