Thread is pointless. They do what they always do when they meet with something they can't reconcile with their beliefs. Dodge and dismiss.

◄ 1 Corinthians 15:1 ►

1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,

2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Deceptive? The requests of this thread were made abundantly clear, and you can at least acknowledge these three legitimate questions unless you want to derail this thread for the sake of attacking me instead of addressing an actual topic asking 3 legitimate biblical questions.

Now, please either answer these 3 questions directly, or post somewhere else:

1) How many women came to the tomb? One (John)? Two (Matthew)? Three (Mark)? More (Luke)?

2) What were the last words of Jesus? Three gospels have three different accounts of his last words.

3) Was the tomb already open when they got there (Matthew indicates the tomb was open, the other three claim it was closed)?

Thank you.

Where are you discerning that Matthew says the tomb was open? is some web page giving you bad info?

Matthew 28:1-8New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Has Risen

28 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

The angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. Matthew 28:2

For him to roll it back it had to be closed.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. Luke 24:2

Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away. Mark 16:3-4

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. John 20:1

The stone has already been rolled away.

I wasn't expecting much else. That's why I tried to make the thread really about those 3 questions and strongly encourage posters to at least address them in some form.

Here are three legitimate, concrete questions about the very book from which their religion is founded on, and they don't want to answer it. Instead, calling the questions dumb, the thread illogical, and calling me angry.

It all begs the question: Are you upset with me because you can't answer three relatively straight-forward questions? About the book of your own faith?

If not, then why not address the 3 questions? This book is divinely inspired by God. Why are their discrepancies in the accounts about the resurrection story? Did 4 different stories all take place at the same time?

You answered the questions, and Vahalls, but that's it. Most "dodged and dismissed" in the words of Scaly.

Widow thinks I am angry because I asked 3 questions.

He is a Christian. He knows the Bible, right? Where is the malice in asking those three, legitimate questions? I even linked to the exact scripture in question.

When?

I see no reasonable answer so far. The only answer given that is remotely acceptable is that they recorded events from different vantage points... and yet that doesn't explain away the discrepancies. It doesn't matter what angle you're viewing Christ from as he dies on the cross - what he says immediately before dying doesn't change depending on where you view him from.

Well #3 was posted above. I think if you looking for a type of concrete yes or no type of answer, you're not going to get it.
