I never said it doesn't happen, but the idea that we are undeserving of salvation is very prominent in the churches I grew up around.

...first of all we were talking about Gods love not salvation so maybe next time you can check what folks are talking about before you post and secondly he has renounced God and Christianity so the only dick that was being measured was yours and it has been found wanting .

So mad over such an insignificant issue, being undeserving of God's love and salvation are both preached where I came from, usually in the same line. It's strange that he's going to defend his own proper version of Christianity despite having renounced it. Still very much an e-peen contest as evidenced by your agitation.
