Oxy is worse . but weed is pretty bad, prob as bad as Alchol in that respect.

I would rate it a little below alcohol... then again that is quite subjective...

My point is while weed may be addictive, the notion that it should be illegal because of that is utterly stupid... when we have legal substances roughly equal and FAR FAR worse...

/e and I'm not even just talking about alcohol or pain killers, I've seen some people addicted to the benzo's (Valium/Xanax/Temazepam) as well as non-narcotic pain killers like Neurontin and Tramadol... all of which were some of the worst people I had to deal with..... and in my job I dealt with a LOT of shitty people

seems logical, most everything in the world can result in short term withdraw symptoms, like i get noticeably grumpier on tuesdays when d3 is down for maintenance, and thats just over D3. perpahs the with draw period is just over so quickly with such minor effects that no one actually considers it as a withdraw period.

Dont actually need to look up any studies about this cause I actually know alot of people that have used Marijuana for 40+ years and every single one of them is highly addicted.

They might be able to go a day without it , but they are the worse people to deal with when they are dry.

Most of them spemd 500-2000$ a month on their "habit" and need to smoke 15-25 joints a day.

Again, that doesn't really mean shit. If they've been smoking daily for 40+ years, then you mostly know them in their high state. Marijuana is a depressant/relaxer/mood elevator. Obviously they're going to seem different to you when they're off something they've been accustomed to for 40 year.
Irritability=/=addiction.

Alcohol is addicting.

Physically and Mentally.

Much worse than marijuana, with so many more terrible health effects.

Kills more in a single day than marijuana has ever killed.

Just to clarify.

Running someone over with a bus is worse than punching someone in the face.

By comparison, punching someone in the face must be acceptable.

Way to divert the conversation.

assuming running some one over with a buss is legal...i wouldnt expect punching some one in the face to be illegal.

?

Both actions are arrestable offenses. The difference in degree being that one is considered battery, and the other is considered aggravated assault. I'm sure you're smart enough to figure out which is which.

alcohol is legal, mj is not

if you want to compare the 2 to an analogous situation, one would have to be legal and the other illegal.

in the situation you proposed with running over some one with a buss being worse then punching someone in the face, i assume you mean to compare the legal alcohol, to the illegal mj. thus to be truly analgous you would have to assume running some one over with a buss to be legal while punching some one in the face to be illegal.

running some one over with a buss being legal while punching some one in the face being illegal, that just dosnt make sense.

hes simply purporting that the current situation is illogical, like a world where running people over with cars is legal, but punching them is not. hes not suggesting any way to resolv ehte current situation and he surely isnt suggesting prohibition of alcohol.

i belive this is what one might call a strawman falacy.
