How do you distinguish that which is from that which is not? ;)

Open your mind, admit you are more than your mind is the way... Once again I do not know the truth (that which is), I just have a rational mind and understand how life works.
Edit : I understand I do not have all the answer, and I should keep seeking that which is all my life.

You did it again. You must be blind to it. How do you know he is "so mired in dogma?" You don't. There are rules against that shit.

Because I can read his words? Oh, and because I'm not an idiot.

It is hard to question that which is my friend, because that which is... is.

And that's exactly what every Dogmatist says. "It is the will of God, there's nothing to question, it is what is." :(

You are doing precisely what Tzu warned against, and I will pray that you open your mind and educate yourself more on this topic. :(

You cannot do that. Though spellcheck was trying his hardest to do so, he got nowhere. What you can do is share your honest projections so we can build our perceptions. nn truth police.

Nobody cares if you're an idiot or not. Nobody cares if he's dogmatic or not. What don't you understand, you cannot know people over a forum.

Another terrible misread of the situation by you.

I never once claimed anything to be true in this thread. That's been eti's gig. :(

What is this "mind" you speak of? Consciousness? And if you understand how life works, you need to know something. Otherwise, your understanding is conditional to your assumed starting premises. And when it comes to understanding, how do you know it is of what is and not what is not? You will need to challenge any premises you have in order to "open your mind", and will need to be open to new possibilities, not grounded in any assumed premises.

see like its not that you understand how life works therefore you know what happens, its like you know how life works so you know you cant predict what happens until it happens.

you can only guess and be open minded.

Doesn't sound like it. He states his assumptions at the beginning and there are some implications that go along with them. He seems uniterested in challenging these assumptions or their inplications, and flat out said they werent open for debate.

My point is... How do you know how life works?
