Fear-mongering about terrorists has been able to help get a number of laws passed, and given the government power to abuse it's citizens rights. TSA has yet to catch a terrorist.

I'm actually looking forward to when an American citizen shoots a drone down that's been hovering over his home on American soil.

It would be pretty impressive to shoot down a drone that operates at 15,000 ft with anything less than military grade AA missiles that aren't exactly in the hands of most citizens.

I think they are horrible. Human civilization is progressing in a technological fashion quicker than we are progressing in our understanding of ethics.

What if we had Chinese or Russian drones flying overhead. Won't that be a bunch of fun? Nameless, faceless enemy occupying our soil? I would say let's bring out the nukes. And just wait until that same animosity boils over towards us.
