Anyway, you've already been answered. Just because the underlying cause that answers the questions may be God, that doesn't stop people from being curious and searching for answers. Obviously, or we'd never be where we are today, given that the vast majority of our scientific endeavors in the West were undertaken by Christians. Trying to understand God's creation and the rules behind it is no more or less interesting when you remove God from the equation.
