Forever? You really believe that 9/11 will continue to affect the world forever?

Most educated people and nations record history so in a sense it is forever remembered.

Well sure. If not forever, at least for decades/centuries.

I mean, it's a specious argument in either direction because we can't look into the alternate reality where 9/11 never happened at all. But it will always be a thing that happened and the last effects will definitely be moving through humanity during our great-grandchildren's time at the very least.

Yeah, just like there's no effects of Pearl Harbor that still echo down to the current day, right? :P

True, it is a argument that lacks evidence or definitive answers. I think that its effects will probably only last for a few decades.

Absolutely, and the thousands of Japanese families that lost their property and the descendants of those families that lost a chance to have familial wealth behind them certainly has no effect today at all. The hundreds of thousands of American soldiers who never came home certainly didn't affect their survivors and then affect their descendants.

Thank God it's nothing but some dead text sitting in a book and didn't change anything. lulz.

Well, by that reasoning nearly every action affects the world now, by the token that the past and the present always changes the future.
